Mission: The mission of the Topeka Land Bank is to efficiently acquire, manage, and transform vacant, abandoned, blighted and/or foreclosed properties into productive use benefitting the community.
The Topeka Land Bank promotes the redevelopment of infill lots throughout the city by connecting contractors and developers with underutilized residential properties. These properties may be vacant or have existing structures in need of repair. The Topeka Land Bank acquires these vacant and blighted properties via tax sale, donation, or inter-governmental transfer, and accepts bids from interested parties for monthly review and transfer. If you are interested in participating in the Topeka Land Bank Program, please reach out to landbank@topeka.org with questions and applications.
